Good morning, everybody!

DD promised to check in everyday and yesterday she texted me a Tiger King meme and posted an Instagram about Dr. Pepper happy hour, so I guess that means she is doing fine.

Marilyn has been binge watching. She got through The Mandalorian (which she loved) is onto Mrs. Maisel, which I think some of you guys watch. I am getting close to finishing volume two of Durant. She heard that Ozark is too dark and Tiger King is too crazy for her.

Although its not a snuggy, I actually have cookie monster fleece pajama pants which I have been wearing through the apocalypse.

Today may be the last wintry day. It is supposed to get up into the sixties tomorrow and stay there for the foreseeable future.

Accountability has been really good for the last three days, trying to keep it up. This tenderloin has been on my menu for a week, but its finally out of defrosting and I think we are having it tonight.

QOTD: Definitely our security guards and Starbucks people at work. The serving people at the Palm. The guys who work in our building lobby store.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: nuts

Lunch: Chicken

Snack: Berries

Dinner: Tenderloin

Have a great day, all!

Thanks, Kelly. When we were Skyping yesterday, her boyfriend popped his head in her doorway to say Hi and Marilyn said "I guess I've met her boyfriend now."

It seems that work things have calmed down a little for you.

Thanks, Patty. My niece is a traveling nurse working in Washington state and we were all worried about her, but she is actually fine and her little hospital never got any cases.

Good morning, everybody!

I found out yesterday that DD, her boyfriend, and his parents all have COVID-19. They only did the test on the father, but she is 100% sure that she has it. We FaceTimed with her and she seemed to be in good spirits. Yesterday, she was doing homework and ordered some coffees online. She was also getting ready to watch Tiger King and remembered that she actually went to the Oklahoma park as a freshman. She thinks that she is only on Day 1 or Day 2 of the virus.

I had a flurry of work yesterday, but today shouldn't be as busy. Marilyn is bored and itching for something to do, so I need to help her figure that out.

If the world returns to normal and they still have the OH conference, I am almost certainly going - we have so many credits on different airlines and I am working during what was going to be our spring break.

QOTD: I've always loved a good Rhinoceraus. But the Dolphin and Bear thoughts are good also. I do not like the idea of JB leaving green poops all over my yard.

Breakfast: Turkey meatballs and cottage cheese

Snack: Yogurt and strawberries

Lunch: Chicken

Snack: nuts

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

Good morning, everybody!

Our cleaning lady is here today. Usually, I try and get out of the house while she is working, so that I am not in her way, but where would I go? She actually just came down and vacuumed and the dust has us sneezing and panicking.

It actually kind of feels like a Monday because I do have work that needs to get done today. A couple of conference calls and a few tasks that I need to complete. It seems like about 20%of the people are super busy and the rest of us are not.

I am expecting to hear about DD's boyfriend's Dad's COVID-19 test today. She still isn't sick yet, although she said her boyfriend had a fever on Saturday.

QOTD: Adidas sweatpants and a Tee shirt.

Snack: Strawberries

Breakfast: sausage and cottage cheese

Lunch: Salad with taco meat

Snack: nuts

Dinner: TBD -maybe tenderloin

That's a great idea, Sheila. We have a lot of little libraries in our town also, I wonder if they have done that.

When I was in Italy two years ago, I kept hearing about how they were trying to get Italian Americans to move back. Understanding the age demographic better, it makes sense now.

Good morning, everybody!

The Plyo Box project went well yesterday. Marilyn helped out and it took us about 3 and 1/2 hours to fini**** including a fairly vigorous cleaning of the garage by Marilyn between cutting and assembly. It was about $55 for plywood, wood screws and glue. I will post pictures on Friday.

I think that DD will hear from the hospital about her boyfriend's Dad's test results tomorrow. She said that her boyfriend had a fever yesterday. Even though she is young and healthy, this is definitely a source of stress.

I did 18 unbroken double under, so that cheered me up a little yesterday. And my youngest son is tiring of sloth life. He has asked to be woken in the morning and is trying to think of ways to get exercise. Why doesn't he just do what either his Mom or Dad are doing, you ask?

Today is mostly reading, I think. Marilyn has a 10:00 cardio tennis drill on Facebook, so she has been looking forward to that for hours.

QOTD: Never untie.

Breakfast: sausage and cottage cheese

Lunch: Tenderloin

Snack: nuts

Dinner: Probs leftover tenderloin

Good morning, everybody!

The online ****tail party was more or less of a success, except for one couple that couldn't get onto the live stream. For them we got a voice livestream and a 20 year old work profile picture.

Marilyn binge watched the entirety of The Mandalorian yesterday and loved it. My youngest got out of bed and did some cooking. DD hasn't heard the test results from her boyfriends father.

Today, aside from the usual, we are going to go to Home Depot.

QOTD: Nope, usually the opposite if I wake at night.

Breakfast: Protein bar

Lunch: Hamburger

Snack: SF pudding

Dinner: Tenderloin

Cool puzzle!

Jen, I wanted to respond to your post yesterday, but sometimes the late night posts get lost. One thing that we heard at our CASA meeting yesterday was that calls to the Illinois DCFS are way down, because the mandated reporters have to be in social isolation. So, your concerns are absolutely correct. They are trying to train as many advocates as possible anticipating a surge in reports once the children and teachers return to school.

Good morning, everybody!

Today I have my first virtual ****tail party on Zoom. Marilyn had one with her tennis friends yesterday, and it seemed to go well once the initial kinks with the software were worked out. I am trying to figure out whether a couple can fit on one camera or whether we need to have two devices out at the same time (and/or two bottles of wine).

Are people dressing for these parties? I am going to at least shower and put on jeans and a dress shirt.

Each day, we have an uncomfortable period where Marilyn tries to figure out what she is going to do for the day. The boys sleep all day (literally) and I do need to do some work, so without tennis, finding something for her to do is becoming a challenge. Yesterday she cleaned out the china cabinet and polished the silver. Wednesday, she cleaned all of the ceiling fans (they look great now).

This weekend, maybe she can help me build my plyo box.

QOTD: First off, JB's QOTD game is always strong, but she has just brought it this week. With that said:

J janatorial supplies (i.e. toilet paper)

A amusement

M Marilyn

E essays (and other reading materials)

S snacks

Breakfast: Peanut butter toast

Snack: Protein Bar

Lunch: salad

Snack: cheese at ****tail party

Dinner: pizza

Have a great day, all!

Good morning, everybody!

My daughter, has been staying with her boyfriend's parents for the last few days in Texas. We found out yesterday that her boyfriend's father hasn't been feeling well and went to the hospital for a COVID-19 test. I guess that it will take about 4 more days to get the test results. She said that he has been self-isolating in his room, but this has me feeling stressed.

I may be wrong, but it seems like anybody who gets the test probably has it.

Yesterday, I multi-tasked at work and worked out while on a conference call. I think it's a good system. Of course I would never do that during a client call, but for the H.R., COVID-19 updates, endless reminders that I have to bill, etc. its a good way for me to be more productive.

I have a videoconference for CASA this morning, so I need to shower and get dressed.

QOTD: not really. Marilyn has been good about calling our families.

Breakfast: Peanut butter toast

Snack: protein bar

Lunch: meatloaf

Snack: nuts

Dinner: TBD

Have a great day, all!

Marilyn spent a good part of yesterday devising a plan for the boys to transition into regular schedules. Goal is that they will rise by 9:00 this summer.

I am thinking that they should take summer classes, since there doesn't seem to be much chance of working. If the weather breaks, I have projects for them around the house.

Good morning, everybody!

OK, this is the cutest story ever. I think this happened in the UK, but this dog was so happy that his whole family was home sheltering in place that he sprained his tail from wagging it so much. They noticed that his tail was not working and consulted with a veterinarian who informed them that it was sprained and gave him a pain reliever. Apparently, he is recuperating with his family.

I think its Wednesday. On the agenda today is some work, reading, gym and Seal Team is on tonight. We are going to get take out tonight from one of the local restaurants. They are doing a curbside pickup on Wed. through Saturday night.

I have decided to build a Plyo box this weekend. I need a few things, but I think that I can run down to Home Depot and go through the self service checkout while still remaining six feet from anybody.

QOTD: When I came into work this morning, one of my co-workers was still up from Tuesday, watching a movie in his office. The others have overslept and aren't at work.

Good morning, everybody!!

I don't like to see everybody getting sick. I know that in most cases it will just be a cold or even less, but its still nerve-racking.

I'm now the proud owner of a 30 pack of toilet paper. We went to Costco yesterday, it wasn't crowded and they had plenty of paper. I saw a meme on my daughter's Twitter that said January 2020 - this is going to be my year!, then March 20 -using coffee filters for toilet paper.

We watched Uncut Gems last night. It was OK. We definitely liked Sharp Knives better.

I did my first at home workout from my gym yesterday. Four rounds of 40 Kettlebell swings, 35#, 40 step ups to an 18 inch box with 20 pound wall ball, 40 double unders, run 400. it took about 51:15. Set-ups with the wall ball were the second hardest part. The hardest part was averting eye contact with chatty neighbors.

I will have to go out of my way to talk with them today. But explaining that I was not jogging, but doing a workout for time would have only led to a prolonged discussion about what I was doing.

QOTD: Escalators, coconut, cars, beaches steak knives, Teddy Bears, books. Em - I've got nothing on yours, never tried either a pedicure or Netflix. My question - Ham, Spam, Lamb or Yam?

Pretty good day yesterday, need to keep it up.

Breakfast: sausage and cottage cheese

snack; protein bar

lunch: leftover tenderloin

snack: nuts

dinner: chicken
