hey just wanted to say hey and i'm new to this site.. i had my surgery 10/17/05 at morristown memorial hospital in nj.. i had dr. abkin (wonderful doctor) I just turned 19... my weight at surgery was 412, i weighed myself yesterday (i know, i'm supposed to wait) and i'm down 35lbs! It's exciting... hmm i haven't had any problems yet... i've been able to get in 80g of protein and 64oz of liquid.. hmm so far not problems at all... well wanted to say hi and see where everyone else is at, and how you all are doing -Claire ps i have a myspace, my page is www.myspace.com/clairemarie86 if anyone has a myspace add me i'd love to talk to everyone!

wow you've lost alot of weight that's awesome it seems not to long ago you were posting about your upcoming surgery and now you're 68lbs down that's awesome keep the board updated on your weightloss

My daughter is 17 and I am an over concerned mom. She had gastric bypass on August 1, 2005 and is doing fantastic. I would love to see her post some photos so you all can see. She is down over 60 lbs and looks great but better yet she is so happy I cannot tell you. She glows. She is going to be interviewed and photographed by a medical journal in Colorado on Wednesday.
