Wooooow, I'm sorry they didn't medicate you more for that pain! I chose my surgeon for a few good reasons, one being they manage pain as much as possible. I know I'll still feel it when I wake up, but it's worth it.
I'm glad you made it to the bench, I'll join you on the 2nd :D

i never had much pain, the first day a little all i did was press the button for the morphene, and that was it i think the second day i only pressed it a couple times i hope you feel better soon
I am sorry to hear about your experience. I truly had no pain after surgery. Just some soreness and minimal discomfort. I hope you were sent home with some liquid pain meds. I took them mainly at bedtime for 4-5 days.
I am 2 weeks and 2 days past surgery, have been back at work for 1 week and at this point feel like I have not had any kind of surgery (other than the fact that I get full on very little food).
I hope that you feel the same as I do in a couple of weeks.

So sorry to hear that you had pain after surgery. I was very lucky that I didn't have any pain. Discomfort with the gas in my left shoulder area but really no pain. The nurses took my pain pump off since I wasn't using the meds and I went home with a perscription for pain meds but I didn't get it filled. Sorry that you didn't have a pleasant post surgery experience but I do hope that you are feeling better now.
Hopefully, you will lose weight consistantly and you won't remember the pain too much.

So sorry you're having so much pain! The first couple of days are the worst. But it'll soon be a thing of the past.
Everyone feels pain differently. For me, the first 2 days were the worst. I've had many surgeries so I was expecting the pain. I came home after 2 nights in the hospital and that's when I took my last narcotic pain pill. I tried switching from the narcotic to liquid tylenol, but the taste of tylenol was worse than the pain
so that was the end of that.
I hope you start feeling better soon! And welcome to the loser's bench

Congratulations, thank God that parts over right? i'm sorry that the pain was so bad for you. I was very lucky, the pain wasn't bad at all and i really expected it to be much worst, but i tolerate pain pretty well as the cramps i had every month hurt worst than childbirth,, i was just so glad to have that part of it over with and to begin my new life. Welcome to the bench, remember sip sip sip and walk walk walk, a lot of the pain is gas from the air they pump you up with so they can move around in there and then when they close you up it gets stuck, so it will keep getting better and better, enjoy the ride, jeani
