Jean,

Thank you for your kind words. Funny that you mention my family. They were a driving force behind my decision to have WLS. With young children I wanted to be able to participate in their activities. Along with the many benefits of losing weight, being a better parent to my children ranks at the top.

Cheers,
George

It is wonderful.

My main concern with maintenance is not to lose more weight. I never thought I would lose this much and now that I have I want to stop losing. Still, it's not a big problem to have. Love the sleeve and all the changes it has brought.

Best of luck,
George

George,

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!  You've done an amazing job!!  I'm sure your daughter is really enjoying having her daddy out there w/her!!  127 lbs ago, I'm sure you wouldn't have been able to keep up with her as easily as you do now!

You've been such a great motivator with your positive comments, etc...thank you for that!

Liz,

You're absolutely correct, I would not have been able to keep up with her at 297 pounds.

Losing 127 pounds make a huge difference in how I live my life.

Best of luck,
George

Keeping to the program my surgeon gave me kept me on track and allowed me to meet goal. There were times I strayed from the program and increased the carbs but those were exceptions and not the rule.

I also found tracking what I eat on a program like fitday.com or myfitnesspal.com helpful in keeping me accountable and aware of my calories, protein and carbs.

If I can get to goal you can too.

Best of luck,
George
