I think it would be really cool if everyone posted their Bougie size, wether it was oversewn or not, and how many ounces they can eat.  Place the info right on their message board, so that people can see it on every post we make. It seems to be such a burning question and a hot topic, it would be nice to see it posted for easy reference.  I've done it, see below.  Thank you.

Directions:
GO TO  "MY OH" and then on the drop menu, click "message board", once there, you can permantly add the info to your messages along with your weight loss bar.  Make it small, you only get 2 inches of space.

I have a 40F, I have no idea if it is oversewn.
I can eat about 3oz dense protein, more than that I'm stuffed.

Your bougie size & food capacity isn't showing Trish Tri****'s cut off on the bottom.

Can you see it now?  I made everything tiny.  Thanks for pointing it out!

I have a:
Bougie Size 50 french, no idea if it's oversewn.
Why so big?  Dr. said less complications and studies say very little difference between 50 and 30+.  Below you will see that he is sorely mistaken.  As for the studies, I couldn't find anything online for more than a 40f bougie. :-(

Capacity for dense protein:

5-6 oz I'm satisfied
 8 oz I'm stuffed,
? OZ hurts bad like Thanksgiving (never happened)
I've never thrown up from eating too much.

*note...despite the above...I try to stay around 3 oz dense protein and add 1 cup of green veggies to try to get the full feeling.  Doesn't always happen. Yup, this REALLY sucks, but I'm trying...

Howdy,

Just wanted to say that I have a 34 oversewn and I can eat what you eat. NOt the first year, but the two subsequent years. I can eat about 4-5 oz of steak and a small salad. I can eat a whole sandwich no problem.

Thanks for the info. :-)  I'm just 2 months out.  I shudder to think what will happen 3 years out.
