Newbie and ready to start my weight lose journey

I am new to the board. I have decided to make a life altering change! I want to live. I can not continue on the path that I am on. I have gone through all the steps that my insurance requested. I am just waiting on my approval. I have faith that it will happen and happen soon. I have chosen the gastric sleeve. I think that it will benifit me more. I'm ready to knock these pounds down. Not only do I want to become healthy for my self, I want to start a family with my husband. I am unable to start a family because of my weight. I have been seeing fertility specialist and can't find anything wrong with me or husband beside my weight. So after month after month, and $$$$ after $$$$$$$$$. I decided to just stop and open my eyes and do what it takes.

I have been reading these forums for a couple of days. The support is overwelming. I am happy to jump a board!!

Welcome! Just recently one of our vetrans here who has made goal just announced she was preggers! She also had some difficulty in getting "blessed" but not anymore!
This surgery accomplishes a lot of things for a lot of people!
