creamy nut butters for me were at 6 weeks.

Nuts ? My surgeon says not until 12 weeks out !

opps i guess i ate nuts to soon. I had about 6 peanuts yesterday and they went down fine.
im 3 weeks post-op.

 I was cleared to eat all foods at 6 weeks post op. Be careful when eating nuts though, it is easy to over eat those. 1/4 cup is all you need for a serving.

I was cleared to eat anything at 4 weeks.  I take 1/4c of almonds with me everyday to work =)

I had them at a little over 4 weeks out and never had an issue with them.  They chew down to mush really well. I usually count out about 20 pieces of dry roasted peanuts and put them in little sandwich size ziplocs that way I won't just sit there and munch on them, lol.

Yeah I would like to know about peanut butter. I am three weeks out and I already had some smart balance kind.

 nuts are a staple in my diet (esp. all the blue diamond flavored almonds) as well as the peanuts, walnuts. i snack on them after exercise for a quick protein pick me up . i started incorporating at my 8 weeks . it went down fine and the fiber keeps me regular. lol
