New Scale

Bought a new scale earlier this week.. Why is the new scale saying i'm three pounds heavier then the old scale? Its just like going to the doctor; your scale at home is always lower then what it says at the doctors office. Thats very frustrating for me. I may have to return the new scale one of them is inaccurate, but I'm loving the number on the old one better.

This is a case where you selectively ignore what you hear in the doctor's office. I'm sure your scale is right and theirs is wrong. That's true for me, too. I'm right. They're wrong.

Most scales have an adjustment for when they are off weight, but bottom line.... it is not the number that counts as long as it goes down, right?? HaHa.
Take care.

I use three different scales. The doctor's one is always way higher. The one at home is a low number ( I like that one) and then I use the one at the gym as my third impartial scale. The one at the gym is always in the middle of the doctors and the one at home.

I occasionally weigh myself on my scale at home and it tells me I weigh 60 lbs. Love it

But, seriously, I can totally get your frustration. It sucks for the scale to say something higher than what you thought. You have a couple options: 1) scale shop till you find one you like, 2) just get rid of all scales or 3) just ignore the difference, and work on going down. At the end, that's all that matters, but I know it sucks.
