Thank you so much for your encouragement. You are so right...I've yo-yo'd as well (lost 70lbs twice), but I believe I have it licked this time. Even on my tired days, I refuse to ride the cart. I'm really, really fighting. I can't stop!

HA!!! Where do I get one of those? I'm celebrating, too. TRUST ME!!! I'm just so freakin' sick of the 400's...and when I'm in the 300's, i'll be sick of those, too.

Thanks for the virtual slap in the face. I have come a long way. I will be SURE to post all of my victories...

Let's Party!

Hi Angel,
Congrats on your weight loss, and I wanted to tell you a little saying a close friend of mine says....she says, "When you rest, you rust!" So don't be like the Tin Man! That's how I feel with arthritis setting in my bones...old Arthur has arrived in this soon to be 50 yr. old body, and THAT scares the bejeebers out of me...gotta keep movin, movin, movin... thanks for sharing.

               HW=238 CW=194 SW=220 GW=125  Arrived in "One-derland" on 9/1/11!

Fa sho'...We gotta shake it. I just shared a link about three 10 minute bouts of exercise being as effective as moving for 30 minutes straight. Let me know if you'd like me to send it to you. That concept helps me a lot. Moving for me isn't the EASIEST thing, either. We gotta do what we gotta do. I started dancing in the vanity area of my bathroom with my ipod on early in the morning before my husband and puppy got up. I started with one song and built up from there. It's amazing how much you can add onn gradually! Wish we were closer and we could move together!

Angel, GOD is so good and I'm so happy I made the decision to add years to my life with the VS WLS.  I just wanted to tell you I read your story as to what you went through to get the WLS, and see you had a few bumps, but you got there and I believe you are doing an awesome job.

My HW was 446, so like you I've lost a nice number of lbs and even though 75lbs to someone else might be a lot of weight, for me I know I have a longer road.  I'm not complaining, because each lbs that I lose is a new day for me.  And the small changes that I've experienced from this weight loss means more than to me than anything.

I have a glow about me, and I'm falling back in love with myself.  I haven't thought I was worthy for a long time and I just gave up on life.  (NOT SUCIDIAL !!,  but just not caring about my health/appearance etc.)   I would get invited places and would always turn down invitations.  I'm more outgoing now, and most of the compliments I get is people see my face getting smaller and I'm smiling more.  LOL  I love it !!

I also thank you for your blog, as I do visit quite often to check on your progress and read the interesting stories you post.

Thanks again!

I loved your post. It was very inspirational to me. I believe a good attitude is contagious and I want to catch yours! I like what you said about the 3 10-minute sessions of exercise. That might make it seem easier to do than to have to psych myself up for 30 minutes of it all at once. I promise I will start my 10-minute sessions of exercise tomorrow!
