SCARED NEWBEE FEELING MUCH BETTER

Thanks to all of you *****sponded to my post. I was really scared to death, but now I am only 12 days away from surgery and I am really getting excited!  I will be glad to be on the other side of it tho.  A question how long does a person have to worry about leaks? Not forever right?

My surgeon told me roughly 2 months. That's the healing time for the new stomach to grow around the staples. That's why I'm on a modified diet (liquids a month, and then mushies a month) to make sure there isn't a leak. Congrats on surgery! it's an amazing experience and you'll really love it !
