Been gone for awhile, where's Brandilynn?
Hi there biologygrrrl! You and I weigh exactly the same and I have been stuck at 222 for 7 days now. I am fasting for 2 days--I have to get out of the 200's in the next month and 1 week, for my 6 month goal. A month ago I thought it would be easy to lose 25 pounds, plus or minus, in a couple of months. Now I am sweating it. My metabolism is totally doing the stair-step thing, but the stalls on the horizontal steps seem to be getting more prolonged. I have read alot that you have to shake up your metabolism--like either upping or decreasing calories/protein/exercise, etc. Some of the gals even do an "IF" which stands for intermittent fast. I am worried I might have to fast a day or two every couple of weeks to get the scale to move again. Just still experimenting, seeing what works. What are you doing to get to onderland? Man, this is hard work, huh?
