Checking in at 8 month mark...

Hello fellow VSGers! Hope everyone is doing well....I've been off the boards for awhile but thought I would check in and give a progress report.

I'm 8 months out and under 5 lbs from my doctor's goal weight...althougth, I do think I'll go beyond the goal weight...which is fine. Feeling great and looking okay for an old chick!

I wish I had done this years ago....it's a tough road at first...but before you know it its behind you and you are becoming a healthier person.

The minor suffering or inconveniences are far outweighted...pardon the pun, by the successes and achievements you will have as you move through the process! There's not a day that goes by that someone doesn't compliment me on how great I look...especially my hubby!

I do lurk once in ahile but I'm back in school (Biology) and spend alot of time studying!

Yaay. Way to go. Hope my journey is as suceesful as yours.

It will be ... just hang in there through the tough stuff. I would envision myself thin and healthy every time I felt a little overwhelmed and it really helped.
