It been a long time scenes I have ask for help on the forum.I have been on this Vsg roller coaster for 81 weeks or 1yr and 7 months. I have lost around 260lbs. I weighed 293lbs as of this morning that is great but I have been at this weight for 5 months that not a bad weight for me because I'm 6ft 9in tall but my goal was 265lbs. I would love some help from people that was able to loss the last 30lbs  to get to there goals. I'm going to start a new training program on the 11Th of July for 6 weeks its a boot camp style training I hope this will help.

Thanks Vinny Mac

Absolutely amazing job!! Congrats.

What are you eating right now? Maybe you could tweak a few things of you feel like you've stopped, or it may be that your body is going to take it slow.

The boot camp should definitely give you a boost! Those are some hard core workouts. Just make sure you increase your calories a bit if you aren't used to that level of activity.

You may want to post this question on the VSG Maintenance Board.  A lot of the VSG-vets hang out over there.

Vinny, tell us more about your caloric intake and how many protein and carb grams you are getting in.  I would say lower the calories and carbs, increase the protein if necessary.  Are you still journaling your food?  If not, you might want to start.  I would also tell you to take much of the soft protein sources out of your diet and mostly eat dense protein and green leafy veggies.  That will kick the last 30 lbs. right off of you.  You have already done an amazing job.

Hey Vinny....

First off ....... Way to be!!!.... great numbers and great maintain !!!!

What Elina said sounds on point combined with boot camp coming up.....!!!

I'm gonna tell you........the last 25 for me was a "Fight" ....I had to fight for every pound!!!!

The last 25 I worked with my surgeon losing 5lbs. at a time and than evaluating till I got to my current weight and he said "Stop....now hold that weight for a year"

The only other thing I can suggest is to talk to Jimbo.....you are both big boys that lost big numbers...I'm sure you guys could trade some big boy experience.
