A little ahead of time but...

I was sleeved on 6/30/11, but was wondering if I will get a little card from my Dr saying that I have had gastric surgery so that restraunts don't make me pay for a full sized meal when I order a child's meal.   Not that I am planning on eating out that much or anytime soon, but my hubby had one with his LapBand and I was just wondering if I would get on too!

Thanks!

I got one at my pre-op appt. You should ask. They will probably give you one at your next appt.

Definately ask your doc for one. he/she should provide it with no problem.

You do realize that this little card does not mean that any restaurant HAS to allow you to buy from the childrens menu, don't you? If they do,it is simply a courtesy but they are NOT required to honor it.
good luck,
H
