Goal Achieved!!!!

It's been a few weeks since I've been on.  Last time I was telling all of you how much I'm getting into running and training for my first HALF MARATHON.  Well, with all of the running I've been doing, I hit my target of losing 150lbs.  I have lost the weight I wanted to lose within the first year.  I have more than a month to spare.  I will be running my first Half Marathon 2 days before my surgery anniversary.  I weighed 350 this time last year and today I weighed in at 198.4lbs.  I'm excited as can be.  I even posted (gulp) some before and after shots to hopefully inspire some of the new people and those that are considering this life changing journey.  I won't lie to you, it's been a ton of working out and running lately for me.  I feel my life has changed completely.  I don't worry that much about what I eat because I am eating healthy (by choice) and I am constantly burning calories.  To those here before me, thank you for all of the suggestions and encouragement.  For those who are getting started on your journey: two words = IT'S POSSIBLE!!!  You are in control of your future.  I have never in my life been more proud of myself and happier.

I wish you all the same joy and happiness on my face today.

WOW!!    You look great... and younger too!!!

Thanks for posting, you really are an inspiration to us all!  It seems like there are a lot of people on this board that didn't have to watch what they ate or exercise.  But, I'm working my ass off (literally) at the gym and only consuming 800 calories with a low carb emphasis.  I'm losing super slowly.  But, it was encouraging to read your post today.  Thank you so much!!!

Congratulations on making GOAL!

A toast to such a remarkable transformation!  You look great, and bet you feel better, too. Loved the pic of you in the one pant leg...that is quite a testamony to your hard work & proof of possibility...You deserve all that happy, self-pride you are feeling!   Thanks for sharing, and best wishes in "maintenance-land"...Viv
