OOOOh, I made buffalo chicken salad several tiems when I was on pureed.  Yum!

I'm doing softs and progressing as tolerated right now.

LND:  2.5 oz refried beans with a bit of cheese melted on top, 1 oz watermelon

S:  protein shake
B:  1 scrambled egg with 1oz Morning Star Farms breakfast sausage, 1 strawberry
L:  2.5 oz cottage cheese, 1 oz fresh blueberries
D: 2.5 oz ricotta bake, 1 oz watermelon
S:  3 oz greek yogurt, 1 oz fresh raspberries

I never actually finish everything that I put on my plate.  Satisfied/not-uncomfortably full is about 2/3 of what I measure out.

water:  working on it, not quite halfway
vitamins:  halfway
exercise:  walked my daughter to school

I'm only a week out and will go back to the gym for cardio next week (and water aerobics if my incisions are healed enough)

Lunch: 10oz Beef Broth
2oz SF carnation instant breakfast

snack: eating a bit of yogurt now, will probably get 2oz in.

exercise: I want to go on a walk, but it is raining. Maybe later.


Water:only 20oz so far, I really have to get a move on it.

Finally, I have a chance! I see the newbies are out today, lol.

Mushies/Pureed:

Breakfast: warm unsweetened almond milk
                   unjury chocolate splendor

Lunch: 1/2 turkey slice (chewed to pulp, lol)

Dinner: 1tbs tuna salad
               1tbs runny mash potatoes


vits: yes
water: need more! The day is not done yet!

VSG on 05/31/11 with
LND: 1oz of garlic herb shrimp
LNS: 1/2 a cup of mashed cauliflower with unflavored protein powder mixed in

B: 1/2 of a string cheese
L: 1/2 of a Boca "cheeseburger" patty with another 1/2 of a string cheese melted on top
S: pure protein cookies n cream shake
D: gonna aim for 2oz of pesto grilled shrimp and maybe a few grilled veggies (zucchini, red pepper, red onion, summer squash)

Water: about 40 oz so far, will finish after dinner
Vitamins: still need to work in the b12 and CoQ10, done with the others
Exercise: walk with my dog and maybe some adult fun time? lol

It is nice to see that I am not the only one still having trouble getting all the fluids down.  It makes me feel kinda guilty that I am not doing what I am supposed to do.  But it is not for the lack of trying.

S: dried fruit (sorry, doc ok'ed for fiber
L: light provalone wrapped around deli turkey
S: light mozz
D: leftover ham, V8 juice
S: not sure yet ....

vitmains: left them at home!! I'm so good about them that I knew immediately I'd done it
exercise: I finally found a way to get my bike set up in my bedroom for indoor use ... yay me!

 B: 1 hard boiled egg

L: 3 oz of deli turkey
S: cheese stick
D: 3 oz of chicken breast and 1oz of sauteed onions

Water: getting it in
Vitamins: take them before I go to bed
Exercise: my job has me on my feet all day, so that's my exercise, lol.

Hmmm, for me...


B: 1 cheese stick, 1/4 cup cottage cheese and coffee
S: Muscle Milk light
L: 2 oz turkey meat balls, 1/2 cup greek yogurt (spread out over 2 hours)
S: Protein shake with Jay Robb egg white protein, unsweetend soy milk and a few frozen strawberries (usually post-work out shake)
D: 2 oz chicken and 1/4-1/2 cup sauteed mushrooms/broccoli/carrots.
Pre-work out snack: probably 1/2 nectarine


Water: 64 oz done, goal is about 120oz for today
Vitamins - done
Exercise: 10k walk
