DAY 2 Post VSG

Well the spinal block has worn off so I have some pain. But it's very manageable. I'm a bit dizzy from some of the meds but no nausea...That's what I really feared. So far so good. The doctors here are great. They take the time to explain what they will do before the surgery and what they did after the surgery. I have spent at least an hour with the surgeon. That's unheard of in Canada. Will leave tomorrow and stay in San Diego for 2 nights, then home to Toronto. Cheers!
