Changing up my exercise

It's been over ten months since my surgery, almost 11 months since I started my liquid diet.  I've noticed a steady decline the rate of my weigh loss, which is to be expected.  I looked at my chart that I've been keeping for myself and tried to figure out my weight loss by month.  The months aren't always exact because I sometimes go for a few days without weighing, but it does kind of show the trend:

12/16-1/20      30.8 lbs
1/20-2/18        22 lbs
2/18-3/18       14.4 lbs
3/18-4/18       12.8 lbs
4/18-5/18       14.4 lbs
5/18-6/17       11.2 lbs
6/17-7/20       11.0 lbs
7/20-8/21       10.2 lbs
8/21-9/19        9.0 lbs
9/19-10/16      7.0 lbs
10/16-11/14    7.0 lbs

So anyway, I have read or heard that you need to switch up your exercise because your body can get used to one thing if you do it all the time.  For the last few months I've only been doing Zumba, but this last week I mixed it up a little and went to the gym and did the treadmill instead.  In the last few days I've dropped three pounds!  So I'm going to keep it up.  Sometimes Zumba, sometimes the gym for the treadmill.  Until my body gets used to that and I have to switch it up again.  Tomorrow morning Zumba toning (with weights) and then Wednesday after work I'll go bust butt on the treadmill.

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday to you!!  I really believe that switching up your work out routine is very important.  I just was at my Dr.'s and that was emphasized to me just this last week.  I was instructed to walk for 4 min. then run 2 and do this for as long as I felt comfortable at this pace and this week I have lost 6 pds!!
You have done a great job and I wish you the best! :)

I went from 3 Zumbas a week to 5 and started big-time losing again. I dread if my bod gets used to this routine, as I like it alot. I am adding some walks with the dogs several times a week and starting tango lessons once a week too. Hopefully we will get to goal before our bods completely stall out and figure out what we are doing. LOL
