NSV: Mediums and 10/12s

OMG I am so happy that I could burst!  I went shopping today and comfortably fit in Mediums and 12s.  I even have a few 10s, though they are snug yet.

It's almost hard for me to believe that 5 months ago I was wearing 2X and 20/22s!

The whole experience almost feels surreal sometimes.  But I love it!

And I picked up a business suit for $4.50 and a business suit jacket for $3 at Goodwill.  How awesome is that??

My stats are close to yours.  I hate clothing sizing.  I wear anywhere from a 10 to a 14, even some 16s, depending on the cut and the brand.

I find a lot of size variation too.  It's annoying and it means I have to try EVERYTHING on before I buy it.  Which is also why I hate shopping online.

Congrats! Way to go!

It is surreal running through clothing sizes so quickly, and it accelerates as you get smaller even if you're buying on the snug side. You'll see.    I walked into the  Eddie Bauer Outlet in Orlando  yesterday in size baggy 10 jeans and walked out with 6's in the identical style that fit beautifully. I haven't paid the credit card bill on the 10's yet. I bought them in early November.

I thought it would slow down as I get smaller.  Thanks for the heads up that it will accelerate!  Should be enough to deter me from doing too much shopping now.

Congrats on the 6!

That is great. must be a wonderful feeling. I can hardly wait until I don;t have to shop at Casual Male.
I have made a deal with a local second hand store to recycle my clothing as I lose weight.
