I'm a baker and I had to take the full 6 weeks off.

I'm a corporate travel agent, and work from home.  I started taking calls on the 6th day post-op, but I should have taken another week.  Thank goodness I didn't make any mistakes!!

 i am an RN and i am having my procedure today! i have a desk job and i am planning to be out 3 weeks.

I'm a police officer and I took 4 1/2 weeks off and the first day was bad, due to me working 12 hour minimum shifts.  It hasn't been bad since.  

I'm a financial analyst and I work for NASA.  Since I have a desk job I was able to return to work after two weeks.

Dude....that sounds like an awesome job!

Im a registered nurse..i took off 4 weeks..its been 2 weeks and feel like i could go back now.

 Veterinary Technician. Took 6 weeks off and was glad I did. Felt good after about 3 weeks, but I lift about 50-75 lbs on a daily basis, which isn't allowed for 6 weeks minimum. It was like the vacation I had never had =) 

I'm an HR professional (desk job). My 2 weeks was up the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, so I waited until the following Monday to go back to work. By then, I was antsy and ready to be back!

I am an engineer, usually desk work.  I took off two weeks, but could have gone back earlier.
