Running shoes for Overpronators?????
My Brooks Beasts are too heavy and stiff. I think they are contributing to the pain (feels like over strained) in the acheles /below the calf region. I think my feet have a hard time bending- for instance I can't do a plank because my toes won't bend back in the shoe so I can hold the position. Well, I'll do it, but only as long as it takes for my feet to just slide me out of the position.
I still overpronate, yet I want to run with a lighter shoe. So any shoe with some stability and also some lightness?

I found a good ASIC shoe that helps with pronation and is pretty light. I'd have to check at home for specific model but I paid like $120 for them and I love them.

I wear Asics and have put in over the counter insoles from a pedorthist. As far as I'm concerned Aasics are AWESOME!
There is a shoe store in my Folks's town that has a pedorthist on staff. They really know thier stuff. I don't mind spending the extra money for the shoes or the insoles. Remember, always buy quality shoes and a quality matress because if you aren't on your feet, you are on your back!
