I was so worried b/c Aetna kept saying they were missing info here and there...me and the surgeon's office kept going back and forth with them to get everything in. Surgery is scheduled for the 13th...I'm supposed to start my liquid diet TOMORROW! Just called Aetna and they told me I'm APPROVED! yayyyyyyyyyy! Prayer works! Now I can book my mommy's ticket to fly in from Chicago to DC to be with her oldest baby! :)

Congrats!!!!  I am also on the 13th.   I have Aetna as well, and they are a pain in the neck to get approved.    I start my pre-op tomorrow.  Not looking forward to that

OMG I am looking forward to it b/c I want to loose some weight before the surgery but I'm soooo not looking forward to missing my fav foods!

Hey that is good news.  I have Aetna too and am scheduled to be sleeved next Tuesday and you are the week after... fantastic.

Good for you! My bestie just finished her 12 week preop and faxed her paperwork to the surgeon Friday. Today they told her they are booking April already, and she has to do about a three week preop with them! She's really upset, but I keep telling her, stuff happens for a reason. She and I both have Aetna BTW. They can be a little slower but/because they're pretty thorough.
