Thanks for all the helpful comments. The reason for deniel was im not currently enrolled in a organized physican supervised weight loss program at least 6 months of the preceding 12 months. I was seeing my doctor on a monthly bases from July 2011 to Dec 2011 and i still have to see him every 3 months guess this ain't good enough.
Did your surgeon have forms prepared for your primary care physician to fill out at each visit? How were your visits and weight recorded? Hopefully the worse case scenario is that you have to do some or all of your doctor visits again to total 6 months. Best of luck, and please keep us posted. This sounds like a setback- not a final denial, and once you've complied with everything the insurance company requires you are very likely to be approved. We'll save you a seat on the losers bench!

Don't feel discouraged, I was denied for the same reason in June n I enrolled in the 6 months supervised diet plan n my stuff was resubmitted n I was approved in January n got sleeved on the 21st of February. I know it's discouraging but 6 months will be here before u know it. Hang in there, this is a gift to yourself. Don't give up ....n I know my faith in God kept me through it all! hang in to your faith....
