Hello everyone, I am looking to purchase a drinking bottle that would be best for post op recorvery. Can you guys please post what type of bottle you enjoy. I am looking for one that encourages sipping as oppose to guzzling . I am an official guzzler, so I'm gonna need to curb that habbit

If you use/used a sippy cup , post that too ...hey, what ever works!
Thanks, Tee

Oh Tee, I see you got a date. I must have missed that post. Congrats girl!

As for the sipping, I am trying to figure that one out myself.

Congrats on your surgery....
thank you!
Glad you made out fine.
I have read that the sipping can be a challenge. I'm concerned a bit ... well, watch this post, maybe folks will chime in with suggestions.
I finnally got approved after pure hell ....Now I face another challenge, I have only a week to get clearance from cardiologist, whom I saw 3 times already back in November(he cleared me then), now again( which isn't my fault this stuff took so long).... but I know it's all for the best so I won't complain.
Hoping for a easy recovery for you!

I like tervis tumblers.  I use large ones for water and put premixed protein shakes in the small ones to drink on the way to work.  They are good for hot or cold drinks.

I love my Thermos Hydration Bottle - the only down side is that it is not clear but the mouth is not a straw and is narrowed to encourage sips. And yet when you unscrew the lid, that part is wide enough to put ice cubes in . . . and it keeps its cool for so much longer than anything else. Now I have found that post-op I don't like my water as ice-cold as I once did (makes me have an esophaegeal spasm) but I fill this baby with several ice cubes and the rest with cold water and it is just the right amount of coolness for the day - then I do it again for the evening and keep by my bed.

I use a Bobble water bottle - has the filter buit into the cap.  You pretty much have to sip with it, it's kinda hard to gulp.  I am not a fan of tap water, so I can take it with me anywhere and it filters the water while I sip.  I love the thing.
