sorry, I'm such a slacker... lol

surgery was last thursday... it went well... the first night wasn't too bad... just trying to get comfortable and lots of pushing the PCA, lol... but the second day sucked... the pain seemed worse (i'm sure in all reality I was just more cohherent with the anesthesia out of my system)... Finally got my leak test and started sippin slow... i did stay the second night (which I was originally hoping not too)... 3rd day things deff started getting better and have daily improved since! I'm still sore getting up and down but really can't complain... went n got my drain out today (drove myself - that was not too bad either); drain sucked but was over quick and I'm so happy to have it gone! I'm done 10 lbs from the morning of surgery!!! (25 total so far) I've had some cravings n "jealousy" watching my family eat, but no hunger yet so i'm glad... i've been getting 64+ oz (really btwn 80&100) and 80 protein the last 2 days and will get it again today.... so far LOVING my sleeve!

You are doing so awesome with getting in all your fluids and protien just 1 week out. Keep up the great progress & congratulations on being sleeved!

Hey great job. I was wondering! I didnt know you had to go home with your drain! Now that I think about it, the nurse told me that Averbach sends some of his home with it... I wonder why?.. that Singh doesnt but Averbach does.. hm, anyway, glad your doing well, I had to stay the second night in the hospital as well- I was out of it from the PCA pump. Its only uphill from here!!

yeah, it kinda sucked, but it still drained quite a bit, he found a hernia while he was in there and i had my gallbladder out... so maybe some extra irrigation for the 3 in 1 surgery? thx again!
