Bariatric surgery = vision problems?
Just curious, I'm a year out from VSG and I started having double vision a few months ago, which has in the last week gotten more severe. Since I'm only 33 and have no other symptoms, my PCP is thinking it's possibly a vitamin deficiency related to my surgery. My last blood work was in January and all was fine. I'm going through a series of tests as well as an MRI to rule other things out, but I have never heard of any symptoms of this type in other patients. Any one else experience this or something similar?
Not here. Of course I have bilateral cataracts as a complication from my diabetes being ncontrolled before the sleeve.

When I have previously inquired about having LASIK eye surgery, the Dr. told me that I needed to wait. If you lose weight, and blood sugar levels? change, your eyes will also change. I just told my Mom on the phone 2 minutes ago that I can't wait to get to goal, so I can finally get my eyes fixed! (I'm legally blind in both eyes...)
