Ok, I KNOW that there is no such thing as "average" and everyone loses at different rates blah, blah, blah BUT I do want to compare!  Just need to check that I'm not doing bad.  My husband asks me, almost daily, how much I have lost, seems to keep an eye on my food intake and exercise schedule and the close scrutiny makes me feel like I am not doing as good as I should.  I have been hungrier this week and can eat more also.

I was 260 when I began the 2 week pre-op diet so I include that in my weight loss numbers, even though I only lost 5 pounds during that.  I weigh 224 as of this morning.

What say you?  Can anyone else give me their numbers for the same time length?

The reason this is not a fair question is body type and height and how much ya had to lose. I think your doing fantastic!!!

I was sleeved 4/6/12 and I'm down 47 pounds give or take a few depending on the day. I workout 3 times a week and the scale is creeping slowly past few weeks. But it's about the same as yours for the timing, u were not as heavy to start so it's a Lil different. Hope that helps.

70 days for you and 47 pounds!  That sounds great!  If you count my pre-op diet then I would be 67 days and 35 pounds... I like your numbers better!

52 days out of surgery I was 44 lbs down from my surgery weight, 56 lbs down from when I started my pre op liquid diet.

I agree with Tonja though .. everyone is different.  Your starting BMI, muscle %, resting metabolic rate, how much you exercise, etc.  You can't really fairly compare yourself to others even though I'm sure we all want to do that.

I know and you being a man helps you also!

My other issue is that I am going on vacation for 3 weeks and that is going to mess with my working out and my food!

We all want it to drop fast, however I think it is probably better to lose more slower. Maybe it would also help not to lose so much hair which happens???
