Whey Liquid Shots???

Have any of you tried WHEY LIQUID PROTEIN SHOTS???

They are 3.8oz & flavored...
42g of protein


What is your like or dislike about them?
Any specific flavor you like or dislike?

Can't stand them. They are like the Isopures but worse. They are thick and blech. I just don't even want to think about them. Ugh!

I like the isopure dutch chocolate mix...

Sorry, let me rephrase. Isopure clear liquids, in the glass bottles. Good luck with the shots. They are cheap enough at Walmart, that you can try ONE. I wouldn't recommend buying more than that to try them.  Holy moly they're gross! If I could chug them, it would be a different story. I have some shots left over I wish I could send ya!

I tried the grape and it was so disgusting I threw the other one out.  Thick and disgustingly sweet.  I couldn't get past a few sips without dumping it.

I use them to flavor my iced tea. One shot is OK mixed in with lots of iced tea. I usually use 1/3 shot to one glass of tea.

You might want to read the 2 posts below. I've had these bookmarked for a long time.
Look at the ingredients on the Shots---if it says Collagen in the first few---it's not the protein that we need. Even if the name says Whey Protein. We don't absorb this as well. It will give you some nice hair and nails, I think.

I spent a fortune on these when I first started only to end up throwing them out. Taste---bad but more importantly for the reasons in these posts.

I tried a couple and didn't care for them.  So sweet, and a bit glopy in texture.  I know that that that small amount of liquid with 42g of protein is bound to be thick, but I was hoping they'd be more palatable anyway.  The mixing with tea idea is intriguing, though, so I might try that myself.
