Sorry about your luck. I loved my surgeon.....Steven Hodgett at Baptist Medical Center in downtown Jacksonville. I am so happy and am 1 year post op. I got back on Tuesday for my 6 month check up. Good Luck!

Wow! I'd have some really ugly words for him and his practice. :( My sympathies to you...and good luck continuing your quest to find a good surgeon!!

It sounds like you lucked out, as there are several reviews on his profile here from people who self-paid for a band and lifetime fills that he walked out on. There are others out there with a similar profile of frequent moves, so let that be a red flag. In the current business environment in the medical field it is not unusual to see a practice split up, but if you run across a doc who has been changing practices (and states!) every year or two - run, don't walk, away.

1st support group/seminar - 8/03 (has it been that long?)
