walking clothes help
Hi everyone. I love walking as my main exercise. However, I only have one pair of shorts (dress shorts, not exercise shorts) that I can wear. All exercise shorts are either A. too short, B. spandex and I am preop-don't want to be seen in spandex or C. ride up between my legs as I walk, which is both embarassing and uncomfortable. Any suggestions for shorts that are longer than the bottom of my butt and don't ride up? I won't walk every day if my one pair of shorts are not washed. And then if I wear them for exercise, I can't wear them during the day. Help please
Honestly, laundry as an excuse for not exercising is no excuse. IF you let something that simple get in the way of your exercising you should probably readdress the priorities. Is burning calories more important, or having a nice pair of shorts to wear while doing it?
Let me go ahead and give you another heads up - As you start to lose you are going to need more and more workout style clothes. You will need compression garments and sports bras and all of that jazz. Find a store locally that is affordable and has items that work for you. As you shrink quickly, you will have to buy several sets in quick succession. Don't spend too much, and don't get hung up on finding the perfect outfit. You won't be spending much time with it.

Seems like everyone likes capris, so off I go to the store to find a couple pairs. And yes, only 2 pairs because hopefully by the time fall comes, I will not fit in them! (cross my fingers)!
