One year surgiversary!!!

One year ago today I had my VSG. Met with my surgeon today. I have lost 92% EWL. He told me that for a 50 (almost 51) year old menopausal woman, he would have expected 60% EWL and ecstatic with 65%. He was completely blown away by my stats. LOVE IT!!
ALL of my one year labs are within normal limits, no more sleep apnea, no more knee and back pain, no more high cholesterol (LDL and HDL look great), GERD, etc.

I now weigh 2 lbs LESS than my 18 year old college freshman daughter...although she is 5' 7" and I'm only 5' 3.5"...

Absolutely best thing I have ever done for myself. Best part of my appointment?? My surgeon says to stop losing weight ---I am looking TOO thin. Then he laughs and says "Who ever heard a bariatric surgeon tell his patient to STOP losing weight?" We were both laughing
