Feeling good, would like some advice
Hello friends, I just got back from my 6 week check up w/ my surgeon. I've lost about 40+ lbs since surgery n a total of about 143 lbs since my heaviest weight of 530lbs back in March. I'm real excited about the weight loss n it gives me a boost to my self esteem!!!! My doctor put me on a regular all food diet and that makes me a little nervous. I would like to ask if there is any advice & recipes that you guys can share that I can try. It would really help me a lot so I start easy with new food. Thanx again for your support friends!!!! :)

My advice would be to start slow. Pick a food a day and try it. You don't know how you will tolerate things again, and want to "test the waters" so to speak.
Don't forget to eat slowly, chew well and follow the no water with food rule. Some dense protein is dry - look at the recipes to make it less so. I started with a lot of meats cooked in water and stuff in a crockpot.
The recipe forum here is good - also eggface has some awesome recipes.
This may sounds stupid - but I also bought the weightloss surgery cooking for dummies book. It has some good ideas in it. At least to start. Remember, you don't have to follow every recipe EXACTLY - do it to your own tastes. :)
