Newbie here! Surgery 10/18

Hi there! I have been lurking around reading all these awesome stories. I am awaiting insurance approval and have a surgery date of 10/18. Only 17 days away! Can't believe it!

Thankfully the hospital I work for has a clause built in that as long as surgery is done here at our facility it is covered, so just waiting on the official approval!

Welcome Sleevette!! I did a lot of lurking before surgery and it really has made all the difference in my experience. I feel like I knew what to expect and know my options. That 17 days is going to fly by! Good luck and keep us posted!

My surgery is the 12th and I was much like you being a lurker until official word came through.  I cannot wait to take this exciting journey and hear all about yours too!  Good luck!
