Just tried Unjury's Chicken Soup Protein powder
So I ordered some sample packets of the chicken soup, and strawberry sorbet. I was a little nervous about the chicken soup, but boy was it good. I'm hoping to use it as an alternative to the sweet shakes during the pre-op stage. I was pleasantly surprised. Tasted just like chicken soup and no after taste, and you can't beat the 21g of protein in 8oz of water.
Here is another tip. I don't have protein drinks that often any more, but I wanted some this morning. I put about 8 oz of cold chicken broth with about 6 oz of ho****er from my keurig coffee maker together (they mix to a "warm" temp). Then add a scoop of the chicken soup. That gives it a richer taste without adding many calories. I imagine that mixing with a beef brother might even give it more of the taste of a vietnamese broth.

Beyond Goal
I got the sample kit and like the chicken soup also but was thinking if i have to drink it for almost a month i need to spice it up a little. Has anyone done tried to do that?? I was thinking maybe using broth and cooking some onions and other spice. pureeing the onions and using it as use as the water base to mix with the soup mix.
I LOVEEEEEE Unjury's Chicken soup...seriously, I should be the poster child. I am pre-op and drink it willingly. I love it. I was grossed out by the foam the first few times I made it (I shook it) and thought for sure it would taste nasty and it is my favorite. I will be drinking that instead of chicken broth. You can't beat 21gms of protein in 8oz...plus that goes towards you protein and fluids goal! I know I will get sick of the sweet shakes as well but I have been drinking the chicken soup for like 2+ months now.
