I hit goal two weeks ago, had my tummy tuck on Friday.
I am getting through the tummy tuck recovery. To me, the tummy tuck is not as painful as a C-Section, and I have had two of them. My doctor did the inverted T to give my body definition.
My plastic surgeon took 15 pounds off my tummy! Wow! That is where my weight is though. I have three weeks off from work.
I saw my therapist the night before surgery, and that was so helpful! She asked me what I thought about the surgery. I said, "It feels like the end." She said, "It's the beginning!!!" I said, "It feels like the end of me!" Crying. She said, "This is not the end of you! This is the beginning of a new life! The doctor will take away the "unworthy you." Oh... it was so awesome to spend 2 hours with my therapist the night before surgery. She said all the right things to put my head in the right place. Love my therapist! 
I had a neck lift done in October. Actually, that seemed more painful than the tummy tuck. I thought the recovery from the neck lift was rugged! I was on Percocet around the clock for 9 days! We'll see how this one goes, but so far it is easier.
