Just a heads up, a lot of cold medicines like NyQuil have about 100 calories a dose. Not discouraging you from taking them, but if you're a calorie tracker don't forget to add it in.

Holy Crap!  I have a cold & have been taking Day-Quil & Ny-Quil for 4 days now about 3-4 times a day.  I always preferred the liquid form since it tends to hit my system faster but holy hell, I might need to switch to the horse pills next time!!!

When I got the flu a few weeks ago, I took sugar free Scot-Tussin.  It tastes like sin but it worked...for awhile.  I eventually had to get a script which made me sick because it was so high in sugar, but for over the counter stuff, the sugar free worked pretty well.
