I Have A Surgery Date!!

Scheduling called my a couple of hours ago and I'm all scheduled.  Pre-op is March 5 and surgery is March 19!! 

I'm disappointed that it's not till march....thanks to my family dr. holding up things because she got in a snit about who should order the U/S of my liver. BUT  I'm finally scheduled and moving forward.  I'm so excited.  and nervous now.  lol

At pre-op I'll find out about the 2 week fast.  Anyone care to share what your fast consisted of?  thank you!

ETA:  I want to say  I lurk on here a lot reading all your journey's and taking notes and just so glad that this place is here!

I am also scheduled for surgery.   March the 6th is my date and I am excited.  This is my first time reading anything on this forum.

My pre op testing is next week.  I hope to get all the diet details then.

That is a question for your Surgeon and his team. You will read about how everyone has different body types and their bodies respond differently to the surgery. This is also the case with Doctors and WL teams. I have rarely met anyone on here who has had the same pre-op diet that I had. 

My pre-op diet was a two week medical weight loss plan called Opti-fast.
