LOL, I totally thought this before when I got in a car wreck and decided just to get a really small Toyota Corolla so I wouldn't have payments anymore.  I felt like Big Bertha rolling out of that car every day. HAHA!

Ms Shell, excellent post as always.  As I read it I immediately applied it to being sleeved and in my first six months postop.  This is My Big Chance, after decades of almost total failure (almost), and it's a good reminder to do this well, as it is most definitely worth doing.  :)

1:   three egg whites fried in scant Pam, two Jimmy Dean turkey sausage links

2:   two Sargento RF string cheese sticks

3:  .75 c 1% cottage cheese

4:  4 oz canned chicken, 1 LC RF cheese wedge, .25 c green beans (which for some strange reason I have come to LOVE postop -- go figure)

vitamins:  on track

fluids:  catching up, going for 80 oz

exercise:  recumbent bike

You know I started to apply it to my WLS (hence the starting over on the first of the year) but yeah if THIS is worth doing it's WORTH us giving it more then a half assed attempt!

It works out to 4-6 oz by volume, depending on what I'm eating.  As an example, today's canned chicken will be measured by weight, not by volume, and measures to about a half-cup.  I can slowly eat the 6 oz of cottage cheese with no problem, but that shouldn't be surprising.  :)

At my one postop nutrition appointment so far I was told to work up to 8 oz by volume.  I almost fell off the chair.  Don't want to do that yet.

Everything I eat and drink is logged into MFP ahead of time or changed if cir****tances cause a change in what's eaten.

You're much further out than I am.  What are you able to eat at a meal?  (Congratulations on your progress, BTW!!)
