I MADE A REALLY GOOD SOUP!!!
i was bored of S/F pudding and crystal light so I made a taco soup...
i took greek yogurt a few teaspoons of that,
2 or 3 teaspoons of Hormels turkey chili
and about 1/2 cup of fat free chicken broth
I blended it so there was no lumps then added a bit more chicken broth so it was not so creamy
and it tastes AMAZING
Sounds good. I made a really good soup tonight, too!
Homemade ground chicken meatballs, tomato paste, carrots, celery, onion, cabbage, parsley, beef broth, and black pepper. I made it for the family, then took a two meatballs (they were small), a couple small pieces of carrot, cabbage, & celery with broth then blended it in my magic bullet. It was a welcome change from my normal menu, too.
Are you guys on full liquids still? I guess I didn't think I could blend meat yet. I'm dying for something different. Went to Panera last night and bought their cream of chicken and wild rice soup. After I strained it, not much left, but it was so helpful to have something different. I might have to try these. Thanks.
im on full liquids but blending it with the chicken broth really thinned it out and it sat pretty well
