hair loss
18 months out and the hair loss is still severe. You can clearly see my scalp now. To the point its now beginning to be embarrassing. I take hair, skin and nail pills every day and etc. I did not realize I'd still battling hair loss this far out. Any advice from any vets with this issue? Oh and I also use products like Nioxin for help, but still no progress.
Thanks!!!
Tiffany
This scares me Tea because my hair is somewhat thin on the top already. I can't afford to lose more after surgery

If your scalp is showing, you may want to try Toppik or Nanogen - they both work great to hide your scalp and make your hair look thicker. I used them for years before surgery because I had super bad hair loss already (thanks genetics!).
You can buy them both on Amazon and at other places as well. My usual advice is when you are first starting out, buy a couple of different shades - the one you think matches your hair color and a shade lighter. Good luck!
I am 8 months out, and my hair loss seems to be over, thank goodness. I have to use a body foam and blow dry my hair to make it fuller, or you can see the curve of my head under my thin hair. I had been taking biotin but I don't know if it helped. About a month ago, I increased my daily protein from 80 grams/day to over 100, and I think it may be helping.
Best of luck,
Carol
