Pain management

I'm 2weeks post op and have a great deal of pain inone of my lower scope holes.  Tender to touch but not feverish.  Sharp stabbing pains followed by dull thumping pain.   I've been out of pain meds for the weekend and liquid Tylenol is just not cutting it.  I'm also still very nauseous.  Even though I'm so far out do you think the dr will give me something for pain?

he might tell you to take extra strength Tylenol pills , or  an nsaid

 he might want to see you to check for infection , or you might just have a tight stitch 

It's worth calling them! I was given liquid Vicodin for pain after going home 3.5 weeks ago. Luckily I didn't have much pain so I still have some left even this far out. Tomorrow's Monday, call them first thing! Hope you feel better ASAP!

Same issue and I just called my Dr who thinks I may have popped an internal stitch. Definitely worth a phone call in the morning.

Maybe, but I suspect that your nausea is because of your pain meds, so decide which is worse.  Also, watch for constipation - it's normal after surgery, and pain meds can aggravate the condition.

No pain meds just another acid reducer.  I didn't get my point across abut how nauseous jam.  I throwing up water everyday since phew green ran out.
