Dark Chocolate Almond Butter
$-weeks post op, still on pureed foods, lots of greek yogurt and different types of hummus. I am doing great losing 5lbs a week, seems to be my number. I was telling my husband, it wasn't sure if it was just me or is facebook all about recipe sharing? I guess I didn't notice it before but now ever share looks fabulous! I of course am into different habits but this particular share peaked my curiosity, Chocolate Almond Butter.
I don't have a degree in nutrition but it looks pretty healthy, Dark Chocolate, coconut oil, I know a lot of VSG'ers are eating peanut butter, I was told I couldn't but this sounded great and I thought it might be an option in the soft food stage? What do you think?
Ingredients
- 2 cups raw almonds
- 1/3 cup dark chocolate (at least 70% cocoa)
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 1/8th tsp sea salt
Blend all ingredients until smooth
