Fiber & Calories Question

Morning everyone!

So I have a question about fiber.  I know there are two kinds soluable and insoluable.  One goes right through you, the other you can absorb some of the calories.  Does anyone know how you know which kind of fiber you are getting?  Also, if it is going right through you, should the calories count?

Thanks!

it's best to have a mix of the 2 in your diet, ideally from natural sources like bran etc.
