Late night

Night time has always been a trigger time for me.  I have avoided this by going to bed early.  It has worked like a charm.  Last night I had to fly out for work.  I didn't get in until 12 pm.  Ugh I made some bad choices.  I think I need to figure out how to avoid the late nights.  They mess with my sleep, my diet and my head!

The best choice is to be prepared.  Carry some sleeve friendly foods with you so you can have some good choices if you know that will be a tough time for you.

I thought I did this, but I think I need to do better.  Nuts & Quest bars do not give me restriction.  I think I need to switch to things like fruit & cheese.

Quest bars are delicious, but I think a slight trigger for me.  I need to be careful.

You are like me Stacy.  Quest Bars and nuts don't give me the restriction I need.  Go with the VSG friendly snacks you know you can eat a little off to help.  I'm weird but I like pickles and cheese.  I have to be careful with cheese though because it's high fat but usually a small piece is satisfying enough.  We need to remember we are just calming the hunger pangs and not eating a meal so late at night.

I also credit my last nights a year ago to regain.  It makes sense too ... the longer we are awake, the more we will want/need to eat.  Going to bed early helps me big time.

Good luck!!

Thanks :)

Going to bed helps on so many levels: more sleep, less stress, less time to eat.  8 hours of sleep should be recommended / pushed just like 8 glasses of water is.
