I would like to thank the academy... ;)
In all seriousness, my sincerest thanks go out to everyone who posts, replies, gives encouragement and advice, and a good kick in the tail when warranted on this board. I'm not going to say I couldn't have done it without you, (though some things I never would have known without many of you) but it would have been much harder, and I would have felt a lot more alone. Thank you for being "my people" along this journey. I'm not done yet, but I am feeling especially grateful that I have achieved this particular goal (Onederland today and less than 50 lbs. to goal!). Thank you, thank you, thank you for being rock stars who have been there on my team as I started my journey to rock stardom, too!
I second your thanks- OH has been helpful, informative, inspirational, funny and stern when I need it. Thanks to all on this forum for sharing your struggles and your stories. Just had my 6 month check up today- labs great, BP 100 / 70, 170 pounds- which I haven't seen in decades! I look and feel better at 62 than I did at 42. I LOVE MY SLEEVE and I LOVE OH!
You are doing fabulous and congratulations! You deserve to make that speech....I also find the help and support here invaluable. Glad you hang out with us!
