Looking back at my success!
I'll be the first to admit that I FREAKED out from 2 week post op to about 5 weeks post op when I didn't lose a single pound and gained 3 back. Talk about being super peeved after having gone through everything and then eating almost nothing.
Last night while talking to my husband I told him I had dropped 3 lbs since the previous day. I immediately decided to update my tracker and realized that my weight loss over the past almost 3 months - from the pre surgery diet to now I have lost 55lbs; 39 of that since surgery. That is amazing. I still have a long way to go but in the next 7.5 lbs I will have lost 50% of my EW. It's great to think I am almost half way there.
Yep, sometimes we need to step back and look. That is why recording is so important. It surprises me when I look back that what I thought had happened wasn't so.
BAND REMOVED 9-4-12-fought insurance to get sleeve and won! Sleeved 1/22/13! Five years out and trying to get that last 15 pounds back off.
Congratulations on your success in the first three months! You are doing great, and it won't be long until you are reaching your goal. Great job working that sleeve.
