I’m a little over 5 weeks out and while I have not regretted my decision to have surgery once, but I have not really felt a great since of accomplishment either. That is until this weekend!

  • I completed my first 5K (it was on the treadmill, but that still counts right??)
  • I was able to get up to 5 mph (granted it was only for ~30 seconds, but hey, I did it!)
  • My “too big, time to donate” pile is growing by the day
  • This morning I was finally able to put on a pair of pants from my too small drawer (Go Me!!)
  • I can stomach protein shakes again (I didn’t want to touch one with a 10’ poll after surgery)
  • I tightened my watch band a notch.
  • I have to take my wedding ring off when swimming, as it tends to try and slide off.
  • I’m registering for a color run in Sept. & starting a team!!
  • All sorts of people have started noticing my weight loss and want my secret.

I do have one SV too. I finally broke through my stall and am back on track!

At this point, I’m loving life and my sleeve!! Happy Monday!
