are black beans ok 5 weeks post op

Im 5 weeks post op and getting frustrated i feel like i cant keep any food down other than protien shakes oatmeal and salads i want to try black bean veggie burger but dont feel like geting sick any help would be greatly appreciated

Depends on your plan.  I would have been allowed to try a veggie burger at 5 weeks.  Just remember to chew really well, take small bites, and eat slowly.

How do you do with yogurt and cottage cheese?  Maybe bean soup would be a good bean starter, since it is more liquid? Just a few ideas.
