Waiting for the other shoe to drop
I love your post as I have been waiting for two shoes to drop. I keep thinking this surgery has been way too easy and why didn't I do this 10 years ago. I had no gas pain, nausea and eating issues that so many people talk about. Yes, my bladder didn't want to wake up but that is nothing compared to the horror stories I have read about the past two years. I recently sold a house in a week and sat around waiting for something negative to happen as it was simply too good to be true. Well, the storm never came. It is my nature to wait for something negative when too much positive is in my life. I guess we are the lucky ones that had a good surgery and are blessed we have had such few problems this far. Keep up the good work you are doing great.
I am so happy that your surgery went so well. I was lucky, also, and had a similar experience. Its wonderful you are walking so much already. That's going to be a positive contribution to your health and weight loss. Congratulations.

Sweet news indeed....I so needed to read a positive note from a post surgery.
I'm a newbie and I certainly been stalking out Obesity Help while completing all my prerequisites. Now, just waiting on that call from Doc office.
Again, I'm so excited for you! Wishing you a continued recovery with one foot in front of the other :)
Things went so well for me that I remember wondering when the bad stuff was going to happen. The other shoe never dropped for me either. Things started out great and got better every day. The hardest part for me was all the worrying in the weeks before surgery.
