sad and nervous....

So my husbands aunt/Godmother passed away the day before yesterday.... tonight is the wake and funeral tomorrow!!!  Aside from his mom and dad (my parents)  I can't stand his family they are all a bunch of snob who by run there nose up to everyone...  I haven't spoken to any of these people in 4 years or better ... except his son..  whom is just like them ... and tonight I will see them.. they all used to turn there noses up to me cause I was the fat chicken and couldn't stand up to my husband's ex wife (I've been with my husband for 17 years now) I'm dad cause it was my hubby's family so I hurt for him ... but I'm also nervous and scared cause the last time those people saw me i was a size 18 and now I'm going in a black dress size 6 !!! Wondering how they will react to the new me and what they will find fault in me now... !!!!  I don't wanna go!!!

I'm so sorry for your and your husband's loss.  Make the time about being there for him.  Don't let them get to you -- they aren't worth it.

Sweetheart, it doesn't sound like it is worth the worry.  I mean if they are nasty they are not worth your time, and if they're not then you have nothing to worry about.  You can only control how you feel about it. Sadly they have wasted time not appreciating you in the past.  Hopefully time has improved them, but if not...their loss... hugs.  Hope your hubby is ok.

Awwwwww Mikki,  thanks for the kindness.... it's more that I feel for my kids !!! In some ways they have missed out and in others I'm great fun that they weren't around those kind of people!!! :-)  but like is said karma is a bit@# and there time will come !! :-)

Awww Kelly first off I'm sorry for your loss.(well your husbands loss but by extension your loss too) Secondly don't let them make you feel that way, you are an amazing person and it's their loss for not taking the time to realize that. You go get  your sexy on girl!!!!  in what I'm sure is a beautiful on you size 6 black dress and you hold your head high and just give them the best f-you look you can muster while still being your amazing self. You got this girl, go get'um, your just showing them the beautiful person they were to ignorant to see all along.Size 18 or Size 6 I'm fairly certain your still the same kind and caring person you have always been your just wearing a different size now. You are such a sweetheart!!!!  Thank you so much for the kind words as always ♡♡♡♡ The black dress is the only one 8 have it is form fitting.... so I'm wearing a black blazer jacket with it and my husband is trying to get me to take the jacket of for that exact reason to say f you to them.... lmao... but nope it will stay on !!! :-)
